Dalton Pass, also called Balete Pass, is a zigzag road and mountain pass that joins the provinces of Nueva Ecija and Nueva Vizcaya, in central Luzon island of the Philippines.
Dalton Pass is a gateway to the Cagayan Valley, and the Ifugao Rice Terraces and held as the border of the provinces Nueva Vizcaya and Nueva Ecija.
How to get there
Ride any buses going to the north with a
signboard going to Tuguegarao, Ifugao and Isabela. Then stop-by at Dalton or Balete pass. All buses will passed by the Dalton
Pass (Balete Pass) located at Balete, Sta. fe, Nueva Vizcaya, same goes when
you travel going to Manila from the north.

After our trip in Imugan, Sta. Fe, Nueva Vizcaya along with
friends of mine, we suddenly side trip in Dalton Pass for us to able to visit
one of the historic site of Sta. Fe.
We barely spend half hour in the View deck, the memorials
and the national shrines.

is a registration fee of P10/head.

National Shrines
This is to give honor to General
James Dalton II and the thousands casualties who give their life fighting for
freedom. There are two shrines in Balete Pass - the Japanese Shrine and the the Chinese Shrine.

There is an American Memorial,
Japanese Memorial and Chinese Memorial in Balete Pass to give honor of those
brave and loyal soldier fallen in battle.

When visiting the historical site of Dalton Pass, make sure to not miss out the zip line.
Mini Zoo
For future event, there might be an
expansion of mini zoo in Balete Pass.
