Anawangin Cove

The word Anawangin comes from the Ilocano word nuang, which means carabao. Wild carabaos roam the area and this could prove a scary sight for the uninitiated. This is the reason why even experienced mountaineers hire a guide when going up Mt. Anawangin.

Mt. Batulao | Dayhike

Mt. Batulao is located in Nasugbu, Batangas. This mountain is 811 MASL (meters above sea level) and is an ideal climb for beginners because of its rolling hills and scenic views.

Tagaytay City Sidetrip | People's Park in the Sky

Background
Formerly called the Palace in the Sky and listed as one of the "Must See" park in Tagaytay City. People's Park in the Sky is a government-owned park. The supposed palace was built in 1979 during the Marcos regime. It was to serve as a guest house for then U.S. President Ronald Reagan who was to visit the Philippines. The EDSA People Power happened, the Marcoses was ousted, the visit never transpired.

Pico De Loro which is also known as Mt. Palay - Palay is situated in the boundaries of the provinces of Cavite and Batangas. So, the hike can start in Ternate, Cavite or in Nasugbu Batangas where the famous rock mountain (Monolith) is reached.

Maranat Falls

Maranat falls is located at Rodriguez, Rizal. The Popular known Maranat is actually the name of the falls which belongs to Mt. Oriod, be informed.  Basically, all mountaineers who happen to hike the Mt. Maranat can see and swim to the gorgeous falls which is just below the campsite.

Mt. Maranat | Journey to Redemption

Maranat is the opposite of Mt. Balagbag which offers a cleaner trails, a wonderful views, a beautiful waterfalls, and a breathtaking experience in trekking the mountain. During rainy season, the way going to the mountain can be muddy or slippery, be careful.

Maranat is not a mountain but it is exactly the name of the waterfalls that is covered by Mt. Oriod.

The neighboring mountain of Mt. Maranat located at Rodriguez, Rizal. This mountain is part of the Sierra Madre range as it transitions into the plain of Central and Southern Luzon. The mountain is also favourited by hikers and bikers.

Imugan Waterfalls | How to get there

Background
Imugan falls is a 35 foot spring waterfall between two mountain. The falls is six to seven kilometer from the national highway and a minute long hike from Imugan proper. It is located in Imugan, Sta. Fe, Nueva Vizcaya.
